Golden Gate Gimlet

This riff on the classic gimlet swaps lemon juice for lime and adds floral notes from the tea and basil to enhance the gin's botanicals.

Serves 2

2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice

2 oz. agave syrup

1/4 cup packed basil leaves, roughly torn

6 oz. Pure Leaf Sicilian Lemon and Honeysuckle Iced Tea

2 oz. good-quality gin ¤

Lemon wedges, for garnish

Small sprigs fresh basil, for garnish

Put the lemon juice, agave, and basil in a cocktail shaker and muddle the basil leaves.

Fill the shaker halfway with ice and pour in the iced tea and gin.

Shake vigorously until the mixture is very cold and blended.

Strain into two chilled martini glasses and garnish each with a lemon wedge and sprig of basil.
